    ok, i am going to take a different approach:  why have you moved the menu into a widget area?

    Helga and Middlesister,

    Thanks a lot. The menu is now back!

    I’m having trouble with another site I built. I did a custom page template. However the content for the site appears to be hidden again since I upgraded to the latest Thematic.

    Example here, the sidebar appears, but no content: http://www.cuttinghedge.uk.com/services/

    Here’s my code here where I output the content for the page content

    `<div id=”contenttext” class=”grid_8 prefix_4″>
    <?php

    the_content();

    wp_link_pages(“\t\t\t\t\t<div class=’page-link’>”.

    __(‘Pages: ‘, ‘thematic’), “</div>\n”, ‘number’);

    edit_post_link(__(‘Edit’, ‘thematic’),'<span class=”edit-link”>’,

    ‘</span>’) ?>

    </div><!– .entry-content –>`

    Am I using anything wrong here? So far it seems to output blank content. When I had the previous version of Thematic it seemed to work fine?

    @proto – don’t see anything wrong, but it might be easier to start from scratch and create a new template based on page.php than to diagnose the problem.  is this all you are doing… i can’t figure out why you even need a template?
